Based on Volleyball age Categories, generally the age groups are as follows: 
18U**: Athletes born between September 1, 2005 and Dec 31, 2007 (inclusive of 17U age category)

The focus of the 18U Program is to optimize fitness preparation, volleyball-specific skills, and position-specific skills and to commit to a pathway which will also optimize performance. Individual and position-specific training is provided to players with training volumes and intensities gradually raised to high levels. Volleyball skills are performed under a variety of competitive conditions during training. More complex team systems are learned. Training should be position specific. (LTAD, Volleyball Canada)

The expectations of this team are to work and develop within a more competive context with VNS' Superseries and Provinical tournaments, as well as a more concerted focus on leadership development through Stoirm Buddies with the 12U development program.  

18UBlue: Mondays 500pm – 645pm, SAJS & Wednesdays 500pm – 645pm, AEC

18UBlack: Sundays 430pm – 6pm, Dr. JHG & Wednesdays 5-645pm, AEC
